This aquatic therapy is blend of CranioSacral Therapy, Myofascial Release, Joint Unwinding, and Stress Reduction. It is performed in a private hot mineral pool riverside. Temperature of water is body temperature 98-99 degrees. Spinal cord injuries, PTSD, frozen shoulder, neurological impairment, and all autoimmune dysfunctions benefit greatly from this gentle fluid therapy.
CranioSacral Therapy (CST) (sm) Upledger Institute
CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a light-touch approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. CST's therapeutic affects on the nervous system, brain, immune system, and spinal cord create a powerful sympathetic effect. (calming and healing). Attention is given to the 12 cranial nerves, biomechanics, and the lengthening of the spine. Spinal alignment correction and spinal curve restoration alleviate pressure on spinal discs and nerve roots. Because of the enhanced movement of fluids, the lymphatic system greatly improvesthe immune system response. CST is a most efiicient therapy for all autoimmune diseases and digestive problems.
Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT) St. John Method
NMT is a deep tissue structural hands-on therapy that focuses on 5 principles. Postural distortion, trigger points, nerve entrapment/compression, biomechanics, and removal of ischemia (lack of blood, oxygen, and nutrients to soft tissues). This therapy is most useful with structural distortions of the spine, sports injuries, and all muscular problems.
Feldenkreis Movement Therapy
This therapy is a series of non-weight bearing movements designed to increase ROM while decreasing inflammation. Movements are taught to be injury specific and can be done at home.
